Easy Tips for at Home Eye Care
tracy2Your face won't look good if your eyes don't!  Here are some easy and natural ways to make your eyes sparkle.
•    Cover puffy eyes with cotton pads soaked in cool milk, and relax for 10 minutes.  Alternatively, dip 2 tea bags in boiling water for 2 minutes and let the tea bags cool slightly.  Meanwhile, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil until it's warm (not hot).  Using an absorbent pad, carefully dab the oil around your eyes and on your eyelids.  Lie down, and cover each eye with a still-warm tea bag for 10 minutes.  Remove the tea bags, and gently wipe away the oil with a cotton pad and a gentle toner.  Try Leaf & Rusher Skin Tonic. – Available for purchase at The Sanctuary Day Spa or www.thesanctuarytoday.com
•    Keep an emergency eye-relief kit in the freezer.  For a simple home made kit, dip cotton swabs into cool water and store them in a ziploc bag in the freezer. To relieve tired eyes and reduce puffiness, roll the swab under your eyes for a minute or two.  Follow up with an anti-oxidant rich eye cream.  Try Leaf & Rusher Tx Eyes – Available for purchase at The Sanctuary Day Spa or www.thesanctuarytoday.com
•    To refresh tired eyes before applying your make-up, lay cotton pads moistened with witch hazel over closed eyelids for a few minutes.  If dark circles persist, try Jane Iredale’s Circle Delete.  – Available for purchase at The Sanctuary Day Spa or www.thesanctuarytoday.com
•    To reduce swelling caused by overexposure to the sun or strain from staring at computer screens, place thin, freshly cut slices of cucumber over closed eyelids and relax for a few minutes.  Cucumbers are a great natural soothing agent!  To even out your skin tone in the delicate under eye area, try Jane Iredale’s Active Light.  – Available for purchase at The Sanctuary Day Spa or www.thesanctuarytoday.com
