Now I know not too many people enjoy hearing a spoiler but in regards to our current economic situation I have a well known spoiler...it's not going to be over anytime soon. Relax though its times like these that help bring out the hidden creativity buried inside us. Already families and individuals are figuring out ways to cut back some expenses. Take for instance Starbucks recently released
fourth quarter profits (dropped 97%). Ouch! Consumers have already started holding back from their $5 pick me up. Or maybe those customers have switched to the McDonald's brew. Have you given it a try? I had to test it myself and while I don't consider myself a coffee aficionado my taste buds were quite satisfied. Don't let me forget to mention my McDonald's cup cost me about $2.50 less than almighty Starbucks. Try it for yourself. I'm interested in what others think.
For formality sake allow me to introduce myself. The name's Paul and I'm here to talk about cheap date ideas. You see, I've got a few things working against me right now that keep me from 1. knowing where and what to do and 2. laying down the big bucks for extravagant dates. Here's a few:
- First year grad student - Back to the poor days
- Just moved to San Diego 6 months ago - I've got sites to see!
- Moved here from Kansas - Hello California cost of living
- A beat-up economy never helps
In my opinion all of these "setbacks" create the perfect formula for cheap date searching (not to mention a very understanding girlfriend who loves spotting these "finds" with me). Together we'll search San Diego to bring you new and creative ideas for cheap dates.
